Many piece of pop music, especially techno and dance music, are created by the computer recently.
Real musical instrument - the drums, the bass guitars and the keyboards - are replaced by the computer.
The wind instruments and the guitars are difficult for the computer to imitate, but the musical software technology is progressing.
Even the vocals are imitated by the "vocaloids", coinage of "vocal" and "android".
The time when no player exist might come.
