MANNERS IN THE TRAIN
I took a train in rush hour for the first time in several months.
I felt like I was in a sardine can.
A man stepped on my right shoe and didn't apologize.
I hate it when people step on one's feet in the train, and don't even apologize.
You can't do whatever you want just because it's crowded.
A simple "excuse me" would set things right.
Some people have no manners at all.
I had better have consideration for others too.
Learn wisdom by faults of others.
今日は、5トレのテキストの"Let's Sophisticate Your English"のコーナーを参考に書いてみました。

添削前:
LITTLE BY LITTLE
I always forget many of the English words and phrases that I once learned in some days.
When I forget them, I learn them again.
If you run over words and phrases, you can completely memorize them.
I have patiently studied English for six years.
Although I'm a slow learner, I got to be able to make up sentences like these.
Every little bit each day helps.
Stick in there, Sophia!
添削後:
I always forget many of the English words and phrases that I HAD once learned (in) some days AGO.
When I forget them, I REVIEW them again.
Although I'm a slow learner, I'VE COME to be able to make up sentences like these.
discipline children"(こどものしつけ)
特に公共の場所では「小さいうちから厳しく」が肝心ですね。
get toは「~する機会を得る、~できる」といった
can に近い意味で使われることがあるそうなので、
be able toと意味が重複してしまうのかもしれませんね。
