My heart was still pudding."I hope the boy in the canoe made it to the shore safely."
"Let's get off the sled and look for him."suggested Matt.
They sled off the sled. The beach felt cold and bumpy under their feet.
"Hey,we're not my shoes,Ouch!"cried Matt.
"These rocks are sharp on my bear feet."
"I'm getting these pebbles between on my toes."said Emily.
"I'm too," said Matt.
