Furoshiiki
Furoshiki(square piece of cloth)has been used in Japan
from ancient times and it is said the name “Furosiki”
came from the cloth the fact that cloth was used as laid
in bath rooms，as the name suggests(lay is“shiku”and
bath room is“furo”in Japanese).
風呂敷は古来より日本に伝わり、その名の通り風呂で敷くことから
名づけられたとされています。
