Nuclear ban treaty approved at UN

On Friday the United Nations concluded the creation of the first multilateral nuclear disarmament treaty in over 20 years, and the first treaty ever to ban all nuclear weapons. While 122 nations voted yes, nuclear power nations didn't show up at all. Japan, the only nation to have suffered atomic devastation, has not even taken part in the talks.

I was so happy when they left the message “Wish you were here.”
I believe even now they would say “We could use the company.”

●「仲間、連れ、一緒にいること」という意味の company
　I have a company. は 「会社を持っています。」 ［可算名詞］
　I have company. は 「連れがいます。/ 来客中です。」 ［不可算名詞］

・あなたなら大歓迎よ。
　I could use the company. / I could use your company.
　　☆could use ～　～を必要としている、～を得られるとありがたい［うれしい・助かる］

　よかったら、ウチに来ない？あなたなら大歓迎よ。（おと基礎 Session46）
　You’re welcome to stay with me if you’d like. I could use the company.

・ご一緒してくれるとうれしいわ。
　I’d love the company. / I’d love your company.

・ご一緒出来てホントに楽しかったです。
　I really enjoyed your company.

　enjoy A’s companyと言うと「Aさんといることを楽しむ」=「Aさんといて楽しい」という意味です。

・I didn’t realize you had company.　お客さん［お連れさん］がいたとは知りませんでした。
・Can you keep me company? 　一緒にいてくれる？そばにいてくれる？
・Do you want some company?　一緒に行こうか？つき合おうか？
