9/7(L55) No cutting in!　「割り込まないでね！」　

ｼｬﾜｰの待ちの列に並んでいると偶然知り合いに出会います。

-What a coincidence!
-Sometimes I stay here overnight and read manga.
　　ときどき泊りがけ漫画を読みに来るんだ。

列に気づかず別の客が入ってきました。
-Excuse me. No cutting in!
-Are you waiting in line for the shower? Sorry about that.
-No problem.

◎No ～ing　「～しないでください」
　迷惑行為や禁止されてる行為をやめるよう促す表現
・No cutting in.　　・cut in　(車・人の列に）割り込む

・Excuse me. No talking in this building.
　　この建物の中ではおしゃべりしないで下さい

・It says, "No cutting in." 「割り込み禁止」と書いてあります。
　-Where's the end of the queue? 　・queue　列（ｲｷﾞﾘｽ英語）
　-It's over there.　最後尾はあそこです。

・No shoes, please. 靴を脱いでください。

・No photos, please.　撮影禁止です。

・No mercy, please.　気を使う必要ありませんよ。・mercy 慈悲、寛大な措置

　相手の努力が報われたことをほめる決まり文句

自分の夢がとうとう達成できたという相手に「よかったですね」と伝える

-When I came to Tokyo, I wrote ten goals for my first year here.
I've completed nine of the ten goals. And the last one is...
　僕が東京へ来たとき、最初の1年でやりたいことを10個書き出したんだ。
　10個の目標のうち9個は達成した。残り一つは・・

-Go to a manga café.
-Exactly! Tonight, I finally did it!　今夜とうとう来たよ！
-Good for you. That's really fantastic.よかったですね。

-The other day, I only got 40 points on the test. What about you?
　　先日のﾃｽﾄで40点しか取れなかったんだ。

9/9(L57) I'm not familiar with this area.「ここら辺、詳しくないんですよ」

漫画喫茶で出会った外国人客と一緒に食事に行くことになりました。

-Let's have lunch together tomorrow!
-Sure.
-Do you know any good restaurants?　どこかいいﾚｽﾄﾗﾝ知ってる？
-I'm not familiar with this area.

◎not familiar with～「～はあまり詳しくありません」

・I'm not familiar with classical music.

・Sorry, I'm not familiar with Osaka.

＊familiar　のこんな使い方
・That voice sounds familiar.　聞きなれた声だな。
