Yesterday, I went to see the wintersweets which are said to be at their best from January to March with my friend.
The place is Nagatoro Hodosan (長瀞宝登山) of Saitama.
The height of the mountain is four hundred and ninety seven meters above sea level.
We went to the mountaintop by a ropeway.
It took only five minutes from the foot of the mountain to the top.
To my disappointment, most of the wintersweets have hardly bloomed.
I do not do mountain climbing.
But I seemed to have understood the feelings of the person who do mountain climbing when I looked over the surrounding scenery from the mountaintop.
We ordered walnut-soba for lunch.
