Question:Why would the government be going to postpone its legislative council elections as being scheduled on September 6?
According to this article,it is due to anti-Beijing sentiment is raising after the enactment of a new national security law for the territory.

However,the prominent activist as one of them who were disqualified on Tuesday is strongly criticizing the postponement due to Beijing has staged multiple acts to prevent the opposition bloc from taking the majority in the Hong Kong legislature.

Furthermore,Many Hong Kong residents have voiced concern the law undermines the one country,two systems framework due to it is supposed to guarantee Hong Kong a high degree of autonomy and judicial independence.
