Question:Why would Japanese Pacific Saury Catch recorded low last year?
According to this article,it is said that Hauls of Pacific saury plunged as their numbers diminished.

In fact,about 29,500 tons of Pacific Saury were brought to ports across Japan during the main fishing season from August to December,but the number of hauls Saury are down 27 percent form 2019 and the worst year since recordkeeping began in 1961.

As the result,the average wholesale price shoot up 50 percent from a year ago to about 47 dollars for 10 kilograms.
