According to this article,it is said that the salt crystals emerged even after repeated experiments.

So Japanese scientists were able to film rare atomic-level footage of salt forming into crystals with using a leading-edge electron microscope.

Furthermore,Researchers seem be also interesting in seeing the crystallization of other substances.
