Ich habe am Verein teilgenommen. Ich habe einen schönen angenehmen Tag verbringen.
I was too excited to sleep even a wink. Why? Because I have a high school reunion today! Though it has been already held 15 times, this is my first time. Today's reunion is special to me. My favorite English teacher, Jonathan, is coming from California. I was so mad about him that I dashed to him at the break time and had a small conversation with him every day, of course, in English. My English was very poor, but he was always willing to talk with me. When I heard the news about the reunion, I sent a textmessage to him saying, "We're having our reunion. Why don't you join us?" He replied to me,"I'd love to. I'll arrange my schedule." After a few weeks later, I was surprised to hear he would join us. Fantastic! Though I failed to get slim, it doesn't matter. At a first glance, he shouted, "Oh, Konomi! How's been going? You look exactly the same when you were 中三! " Whenever he visited Japan, I never failed to meet him. 8 years have passed since we met last. I owe him what I am now. Thanks to him, I came to like English very much. By the way, we had studied together for six years, from the first grade at junior high to the third grade at senior high. Our school is a girl's school and it's a mission school. Our day started with worship. The Bible, hymn and prayer had been always with us. I'm not a Christian, though. Its education was so profound. What I had learned there still lives on in my mind. I believe my six years there have made me what I am now. At the beginning of the party, one of our classmates read passages from the Bible and gave us a sermon. Then, we sang hymns together. I don't know why, but I couldn't hold back tears while we were singing a hymn. I was so moved. I felt thankful to my mother, who made me go to this school. I chatted and chatted with my classmates. Some looked still young while others didn't. However, one thing in common with them was that they were shining, living their own lives to the fullest. I was motivated greatly. We promised to get together again in a few years. I will do my best so that I can have confidence in myself.

Your diary is shining as well.
I'm glad you had a fabulous day.
I envy you, because you were taught English by native English speaker teachers when you were in high school.
I wish I could have studied English harder when I was a junior high school student.
You really have a wonderful smile!
Your teacher's smile is also lovely.
It was a happy reunion with him.
You are charming. You didn't wear a pritty dress, though.
