eute ist mein Geburtstag. Früh am Morgen habe ich einen kleinen Garten mit verschiedene Rosen besucht. Die Sasion für Rosen gehen dem Ende zu, aber sie sind noch schön. Die Rosen haben überall geduftet. Ich bin dafür dankbar, dass ich gesund und lebendig bin.

昨日の日記、まっしろノアールではなくて、まっしろノワールでした。　oi は、ワ でしたね。


Today is my birthday. However old I get, it's a special day for me and I love it. My husband and I celebrated my birthday with fancy steak, which I cooked to perfection, on Sunday. Of course, my favorite wine came along with it. My friends sent me messages. The coffee break at Komeda yesterday was a little party for my birthday. My friend on the 8th floor went all the way to a famous tomato farm and gave me some fresh tomatoes. My son came all the way from Nagoya with a birthday present the other day. My daughter sent me a LINE message. My sister sent me small dishes printed frogs from 鳥獣戯画、which she had bought through mercari. I'm happy to have a lot of friends and family to celebrate my birthday. My birthday started with my morning ritual as usual such as 5-minute meditation, 10-minute yoga exercise, sweeping and wiping the entrance floor, polishing the toilet, reading the Japan Times and MOMO, and a phone call to my father. I make it a habit to do something to make me happy on my birthday every year. Though I'm now in crazy hectic days at work and pressed for time, I squeezed a few hours for myself and visited a small garden with a lot of roses first thing in the morning. The high season of roses is about to end. Still colorful roses were in full bloom and sweet fragrance were in the crisp morning air. How happy I am to be alive! I'll enjoy my life to the fullest. I'll stick to the words, "Health comes first, both mentally and physically." I'll never let corona viruses mar my everyday life.

誕生日を迎えて思うこと。　小学校六年のころからだったか、「自分に厳しく、他人に優しく」、「為せば成る、成らぬは人の為さぬなり。」とういうのが、私の座右の銘だった。　そして、その通りに生きてきた。　そろそろ、変えようと思う。 これからは、「自分に優しく、他人に優しく」　そして、「なるようになるさ。ケセラセラ。」

３月にピアノの発表会をやった、平塚の八幡山公園の洋館の庭。そろそろ薔薇の季節も終わりだけれど、まだ美しく咲いている。あたり一面にただよう、バラの香りに癒された。
