will : 話し手の「意志」か「推量」を表す。
will の基本は「意志」であって、推量は意志から派生した働き。

意志の表明
I will go right now. 今すぐ行くよ。
I’ll never give up. 決してあきらめないぞ。

相手の意志に言及、相手の意志を問う
You will do it for me. 私のためにやってくれるんでしょう。
Will you do it for me? 私のためにそれをやってくれませんか？

意志の推量
She will do it for me. 彼女は私のためにそれをしてくれるだろう。
Accidents will happen. 不測の事態は起こるものです。

※推量といっても意志から派生した推量であるため、「可能性の高い推量」。It will rain tomorrow. だと、推量の余地はあるが「ほとんど確実に雨だろう」。It may rain tomorrow. だと「雨がふるかどうかは半分半分」。
How much do I owe you? おいくらになりますか？
That’ll be 20 dollars. ２０ドルになります。
言い切らないで推量を含む表現にすると丁寧さを加えることができます。
Where is she? 彼女はどこですか？
She will be in the library. 図書館だろうと思う。
現時点での推量を表しているのでwillは未来のことに限定しているわけではありません。
