　Turtles help predict sea temperatures

otherwise : 他の方法なら、さもないと
先に命令や提案っぽい文、強い指示が来て、そのあと「そうでなければ」とつづく。その提案・命令に従わないなら…の結果になる

さもないと、たぶん２人ともかぜをひいてしまうよ。
