H: It's a lovely song about an old man that has Treasures clocks and it's a sort of celebrate the old man's life.
　お宝の時計を持っていたおじいちゃんの素敵な歌、なおかつおじいちゃんの人生の一つを祝福するものですね。

H:I didn't really know the song before we recorded it for the program but when I really listen to it it became a very beautiful special song to me too.
この収録まで実際にはこの歌しりませんでした。でもこの歌を実際聞いて,
とっても美しく特別な歌ですよ,私もです。

Even though it's a song that says the "Old Man" died. it's not really a sad song, because it celebrates a wonderful beloved grandfather and a wonderful life that he lived, and we've been going through some hard times as the world together, and in Japan so I hope that this is a song that is comforting and listen to and to sing. I know it comforts to me.
おじいちゃん死んでしまったと言ってる歌ですが、実際に悲しい歌ではありません。なぜなら、すてきな愛しいおじいちゃんとその生きた人生を祝福してますし、そして今私たち世界全体で困難な状況をすごしてます、日本もですが、私はこれは聞いていても,歌っても心地よい歌だと願います。　私を心地よくしてくれます。

S: Does this song have any special meaning for you?
　ハンナさん、この歌はあなたにとって何か特別な意味があるのですか？

H: I Actually got a chance to visit Kentucky before I recorded it.
I went to visit my uncle he lived alone in a big house full of old furniture and pictures and family heirloom.
I thought about how much I love him as I saying.
　実は、この収録の前にケンタッキーへ行く機会があって、古い家具、絵画、家宝で一杯の大きな家に一人で住んでいた叔父を尋ねに行きました。
文字通り私が叔父をいかに沢山愛していたか考えました。

S: Did that influence how you sang the different verses?
そのことは、どのように違った詩で歌うか影響を与えましたか？

H: Yes, for instance, I wanted it to feel a little like a lullaby, Even though the old man dies, I wanted it to be a song that would soothe his spirit as he goes to sleep for the whole of love.
ええ、例えば、この歌を少し子守唄のように感じてもらいたかったです。
おじいちゃんが無くなってしまった歌ですけどね、愛の中に包まれてまるで眠りの中へ誘うような、おじいちゃんの魂を鎮静する歌になればと思います。
