☆The bottom line is that「要するに・結論は」bottom lineは「損益計算書の最終行」そこからこうした意味が生まれている。

1.この売上高は信じられないね。わが社の新製品が飛ぶように売れているよ！

I can’t believe these sales figures. Our new product is selling like hot cakes!

☆sell like hot cakes「飛ぶように売れる」
☆sell：他動詞（売る）の他、自動詞（売れる）での使い方もある。wash, chargeも同様の使い方ができる。
・This shirt washes easily.（このシャツは洗うのが簡単です）
・This battery charges fast.(このバッテリーは充電が速いんだ）

2.はい、あのかき氷機は大成功です。どうやら、ワイン風味のかき氷を作りたい人がどんどん増えているようなんです。

Yes, the shaved-ice machine is a smash hit!
　　Apparently, more and more people want to make wine-flavored shaved ice.

☆smash hit「大成功・大ヒット」
☆apparently 「どうやら～のようだ」
☆more and more「益々～」比較級の繰り返しに慣れること。

3.それはすばらしいが、在庫が切れかかっている。

That’s great, but we’re running out of stock.

☆run out of「～が足りなくなる」

4.ですが、注文はどんどん入ってきています。

But orders are coming in thick and fast.

☆thick and fast「次から次へと・どんどん」thick（厚い⇒大量に）fast（素早く）。

5.なるほど。急いで機械を増産する必要があるね。

I see. We need to make more machines quickly.

6.あれを作るのは時間がかかるんです。

It takes time to make them.

☆It takes time to～：it～toの形。まず心に浮かんだことをitで受け、It takes time（時間がかかるんだよ）と思い切って文を始める。そのあとゆっくりto不定詞で追いかけて（あれを作るのがね）と説明する形。この呼吸に慣れること。

7.要するに、我々はもっと人を雇う必要があるということだね。

So, the bottom line is that we need to hire more people.

☆Let me get「～させてください」let（させる）を使った目的語説明型。
☆get straight to「単刀直入に～する」get to（到着する）straight（まっすぐに）

13.何のかんのと言っても、私たちのプレゼンテーションはかなりうまくいったと思います。

☆went pretty well 「かなりうまくいった」wentが使われているのはgoに「進行」がイメージされるから。「（ある場所を離れ）進んでいく」動作がイメージされるので。
