☆To sum up「要するに・要約すると・まとめると」sumは動詞で「合計する（up）」名詞で「個々の数字を足したもの・総計」それが「要約・まとめ」につながっている。
・To sum up, let’s do everything possible to avoid relegation.
☆in summary「要約すると・手短に言えば」
・In summary, our best option as a company is to downsize.
☆summarize「要約する・まとめる」
・Perhaps I could just summarize our decisions so far.
☆In conclusion「結論として・まとめると・最後に」少しカタい表現。スピーチの締めの言葉としても使える。
・In conclusion, our research found that increased sleeping time has a positive effect on test performance.

☆The bottom line is that「要するに・結論は」bottom lineは「損益計算書の最終行」そこからこうした意味が生まれている。
・The bottom line is that we need to hire more people.
・What’s the bottom line here? — The bottom line is that we have no choice.
☆When all is said and done「さまざまな点を考慮すると・詰まるところ・結局のところ」あらゆる角度からの議論・可能な限りの試行錯誤の結果「これが結論だ」ということ。

☆at the end of the day「結局のところ・要するに」
・I mean, at the end of the day, we have no choice, do we?

☆in short「要するに・手短に言えば」話をコンパクトにまとめる言い方。

☆to put it briefly「早い話が」brief（手短な・要旨）はin brief, (to put it) briefly, to be briefなど様々な形で使うことができる。

☆on the whole「全体としては・概して」全体を概観するフレーズ。

☆all in all 「全体としては・全体を見渡して考慮してみると」
・All in all, this has been a very successful year for the company.

☆do we?：付加疑問文。否定文で始まっているので、（肯定－否定を逆にして）軽い疑問文do we?を加えている。
