☆招いた人を迎える挨拶の台本「ようこそ→感謝・喜び・今後の成り行きへの期待」のリズムが重要。
・I’d just like to say welcome to our event today.
―　It's a pleasure to have you here.　
・A warm welcome to you all.
―　I'm sure we're going to have a very successful workshop.
・Welcome to our potluck party.　
―　I can't wait to taste all these amazing dishes!
・I'm looking forward to sharing lots of exciting ideas with you in this seminar.
・Thanks for accepting our dinner invitation.　We hope you'll be very happy in our neighborhood.

1.本日私たちのイベントにようこそとだけ申し上げたくて。　あなたをここにお迎えできて光栄です。

I'd just like to say welcome to our event today.　It's a pleasure to have you here.

☆I'd just like to say 「～ を言わせてください」want toの生々しさを排した大人の言い回し。sayは「（言葉を）言う」
☆It's pleasure to have you here：pleasureはフォーマルな感触。

2.ありがとうございます。こんなに多くの参加者がいるのを見て驚いています。

☆I'm surprised to see so many people：動詞句（動詞を中心とするフレーズ）I'm surprisedの後ろのto不定詞は「説明ルール：説明は後ろに置く」の形。to以下は「驚いている」の説明となる。ここでは「原因」を表す。この位置のto不定詞は「原因・目的・結果・判断の根拠」など様々な意味を担う。

3.実は、私は特に驚いてはいません。ササキさん、あなたはこの国のIT業界の高名なリーダーですからね。
