☆find「見つける」あっ、あった!と頭にクリックする感触。
・I’ll find some time to talk to your father.

・I arrived only to find that the meeting had been cancelled.
・You’ll find Ken’s report interesting.
☆discover「見つける・発見する」発見に伴う大きな驚きや喜びが感じられる。
・I’ve finally discovered how to please my boss.
L127 わかる・気づく: realize, recognize, notice
☆realize「わかる・気づく⇒実現する」ぼんやりしたものをリアルに認識する。
・I realized how important friendship is.
・I was finally able to realize my vision.
☆recognize「わかる・気づく」過去のデータ・知識・経験に照らして「ああ、あれだなとわかる」、価値や正当性が「わかったうえで受け入れる」
・I recognized her voice at once.
・Van Gogh was not recognized as a genius during his lifetime.
☆notice「わかる・気づく」sense「感じる」に近い。心のアンテナに引っ掛かる。

☆comprehend「難しい内容を完全につかんで理解する」

☆think「思う・考える・思いを巡らす・予期する・想像する・見なす」
☆think「思う」心の中にある思考が浮かんだ状態のこと。この場合進行形にはならない。行為というほどのものではなく、進行形の「生き生きとした行為の最中」には合致しない。

・What are you thinking about? (頭をぐるぐるさせる行為の場合、進行形を使うことができる)
