L146 カタい : hard, tough, firm, solid
☆hard：カキンとしたカタさの「カタい」
・Sorry, but the carrots are still a bit hard.
☆tough：はね返すカタさの「カタい」努力を跳ね返すような困難がある「難しい」
・This steak is too tough to eat.
・It’s tough to stick to a diet.
☆firm：ふにゃふにゃに形を変えない好印象の「カタい・しっかりした」
・A firm mattress is better for your back.
☆solid：中身がギュッと詰まった「カタい・しっかりした」
・This house is built on a very solid foundation.
L 147頭がいい：smart, clever, wise, bright, intelligent
☆smart：シュッとして知力が高く、キレよく効率的、一流のビジネスパーソンを思わせる知性を感じさせる。stylish「かっこいい」と近い位置にある。
・That's a good idea! You are so smart.
☆clever：機知・頓知に富んだ頭の回転と発想の豊かさが感じられる。
・Gosh, how did you do that? That was so clever!
☆wise：経験によって熟成した知性・判断力を意味する。世間知に富む年配の方々への賛辞に最も適した単語。
・I truly respect my granddad. He is such a wise man.
☆bright「明るい・利口な」知性の明るさが体からにじむような感じ。優秀な子供、中学生等に使うのに適している。bright children「聡明な子供たち」
☆intelligent：深い思考力・分析力、更にそれに根ざした高い問題解決能力を表す。

☆gorgeous「素敵・すばらしい・美しい」大きな感動に焦点。

☆key「重要なカギとなる」成就・成功・事の成り行きに関わる
