☆so「とても・非常に」強調表現。一定の流れを持つ。接続詞としても使われる。

☆very「とても・非常に」そこで文が終わり、あとが続かない。
・The baby is very/so cute.

☆too「～すぎる」できないが暗示される。
・Oh, sorry. I meant to do it right after work, but I was too tied to think of it.
・Can you reach that book on the top shelf?　－I’m too short.
☆pretty「かなり」veryよりやや強調の度合いが小さく、ざっくばらんなくだけた表現。
・Don't worry. I guess things must be pretty hectic at your store.

・Your paper is pretty good, yet there’s still room for improvement.
☆already「すでに」出来事が「すでに・これまでに完了した」ことを表す。
・Don't worry, Mon. I've finished most of it already.
