　A. The official language of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is English. But there are people who still speak Vincentian Creole, which is a mixture of English and their native language.

　A. There’s not much to do there other than sunbathing or swimming, but the water is so clear. It’s great for snorkeling or diving.

「こっちに来て名前を教えてくれ。ほらほらこの人の名前が必要なんだよ」
　この会話の一部が、事務室の戸口で身を揺すっていたウィルソンの耳に入ったらしい。というのはその喘ぐような叫びの中に、新しい主題が登場したからだ。
「どんな車だったか教えてもらう必要はないぞ！それがどんな車だったか、俺は知ってるんだ！」



◎つぶやき：昨日は、一日中小雨が続き少し肌寒かった。午前中、応接室で2時間ほど来客と話をしているあいだは、石油ファンヒーターを点けていた。やはり、まだ片付けなくて正解だった。
　今日は一転暑くなりわが市の最高は28℃になる予報である。これは沖縄よりも高温である。しかし、今朝はまだ居間のテーブルコタツを点けている。午後、都内に出かけるので服装が難しい。
