El cadáver del puente por Teresa Garviar

Resumen capítulo siete:
Por la mañana temprano los dos policías se dirigen hacia la casa de Luis Solís(Early in the morning both policemen head towards Luis Solís’s house)

Han de comunicar a la viuda y al huérfano que no ha sido un suicidio, sino que es un caso de asesinato(They have to inform the widow and the fatherless that it has not been a suicide, but a murder case)

Ponce sospecha de ambos como presuntos autores el crimen(Ponce suspects both of them as alleged perpetrators of the crime)

Tras informar a la mujer de Solís que su marido ha sido asesinado, María Sáenz de Jáuregui llora y le da un ataque de nervios(After informing Solís’s wife that her husband has been assassinated, María cries and gets a nervous breakdown)

Robles va a la cocina a por un vaso de agua, es entonces cuando ve en una bolsa un traje que tiene unas manchas de óxido(Robles goes to the kitchen for
a glass of water, that’s when he sees a suit with some oxide stains in a bag)

Inmediatamente se lo comunica al inspector Ponce y hacen bajar a Ramón
que está durmiendo en la planta de arriba de la casa(Immediately he informs
inspector Ponce of it and they ask Ramón come to downstairs who was sleeping
in the upper floor of the house)

Le acusan del asesinato del señor Solís, las manchas en el traje son determinantes, indican que Ramón estuvo en el puente(They accuse him of
the murder of Mr.Solís, the stains on the suit are decisive, which indicate that Ramón was on the bridge)

Mientras Ponce conduce a Ramón Valle a la comisaría, Robles se queda con la madre de este en la casa(While Ponce takes Ramón Valle to the police station, Robles stays with his mother at home)

María Sáenz de Jáuregui se ha desvanecido, cuando se recupera, el agente y la mujer van a la comisaría en un taxi(María has fainted, when she recovers, the agent and the woman go to the police station by taxi)

En el viaje hablan del traje y Robles descubre que el traje no pertenece a Ramón hijo, sino que es un traje de Ramón Valle, el padre biológico(On the journey they talk about the suit. Robles discovers that it does not belong to Ramón Jr, but it does to Ramón Valle, the biological father)

Robles corre a contárselo al inspector. Deben de ir a buscar a Ramón Valle padre, pues él es el verdadero asesino(Robles runs to tell the inspector the news. They must go to find father Ramón Valle who can be the real killer)
