Let’s get started with day Three for the month of January.
Hi, everyone!
I’m Steve Soresi.
And I’m Jenny Skidmore.
Thanks for joining us.
Today, we’ll talk about buildings.
Are you ready?
Let’s begin with our first time trial.
OK, how was your first round?
How many phrases could you say?
OK, now you can check your answers with mine.
And if you have our textbook, you can open it up and follow along.
Let’s go!
◆ 1階 the first floor
◆10階 the tenth floor
◆25階 the twenty-fifth floor
What floor do you live on? Which floor do you live on?
↓
I live on the third floor.
We have a gym on the fifth floor.
↓
There is a gym on the fifth floor.
We have a community garden on the first floor.
↓
今回も We have ~ でも There is ~ でも正解です。
Residents grow vegetables and herbs there.
We have a lounge on the twelfth floor. It has free Wi-Fi.
The condo door locks automatically.
We have an intercom at the entrance.
When you arrive, call me on the intercom.
OK, did you understand those phrases?
So, now it’s time to try these one more time.
We’ll pick up the pace a little in round 2.
Do your best.
Let’s go!
OK, time’s up.
How did you do?
Your speaking skills are getting better day by day.
