1.　increasingly　　「ますます」


The adverb increasingly means more and more, to a growing degree.

副詞の increasingly は、ますます、増加して、という意味である。
例えば「人々の人生で結婚年齢がますます上がっている」といったように。





2.　prime example　　「最良の例」

3.　do not look good　　「人や物に対する見通しが好ましくない」


When the prospects for someone or something are unfavorable, we say it does not look good.
As in “I was hoping to get that promotion, but it does not look good for me.”


人や物に対する見通しが好ましくない時には、do not look good と言う。
例えば「あの昇進を願っていたのだが、私には無理なようだ」というように。
