In the course of these essays I have filled one pad with paintings of flowers and plants, another with paintings of fruits and vegetables, and one more with pictures of toys and the like.

連載を続ける傍ら、草花を写生した『草花帖』、果物や野菜を描いた『果物帖』、おもちゃなどを描いた『玩具帖』を残している。
