I did my weekly household chores as usual all morning. I felt good when I was done. Today is my paternal grandfather's 13th annivasary of his passing. It's the same day of my English teacher's. I put my hands together in front of the Buddist alter and then walked to his grave which has near my house (10-min walk). After that, I had lunch watching TV drama in the living room. I was able to take a short nap.
Last night, I downloaded zoom in my PC and had video chat with my new Singaporean friend. We met 4 days ago in Tandem. She is an English teacher at langage school for Japanese people. She was interested in Japanese and started learning Japanese last year. Suprisingly, I heard she came to Japan to learn Japanese and stayed Kyoto for 9 months with her husband. Oh, she's 56 years old and has two daughters same as me. She wanted me to teach Japanese. We talked in Japanese and English for about 50 minutes. Her Japanese skill was amazing. It was so much fun and promised her having video chat again when we have a spare time.
