Y:He's not working.I need to ask Dad to fix him.
M:Doug,would you like to stay for dinner?
We're having Okonomiyaki.
D:Thank you but what is Okonomiyaki?
M:It's kind of like a savory pancake.
We'll explain it at the table.
F:Itadakimasu!
M:Let's eat.There are many things you can add to Okonomiyaki.
Y:Do you like pork?
M:How about some dry shrimp?
D: Sure.I'll try that.
What are those pink things over there? and those white ones?
M:The pink is beni-shoga,or pickled ginger.
It's sour and spicy.
Those white things are mochi.
They're pounded steamed rice.
D:This smells delicious.I can't wait.
