Lesson31 ジェスチャーの意味を説明する
What should I do to make a good impression in a meeting?
Well, two things. First, nod from time to time. I know that Japanese people sometimes move their heads up and down too much, but nodding is a positive gesture.
Right. I have the impression that it doesn’t necessarily mean ‘I agree,’ though.
Correct. It sometimes just means ‘I’m listening.’ Nodding is a sign that you’re interested. But you don’t need to do it excessively.
OK. I’ll try that.
