ＡＢＣ銀行で口座を開いた。
I (opened, have opened, got) a bank account at the ABC bank.
口座を開く「open an/one's bank account」
～銀行で口座を開いたという場合の前置詞「at」もついでに覚えておきましょう。
have openedと現在完了にした場合は、「口座開設したばかりだ（今までは口座を持っていなかった）」というニュアンスとなります。
[よくある間違い]
made
gotも誤りではありませんが、通常は使われません。
今まで口座が作れなかった人が、ようやく作れたというようなニュアンスが出ます。

　銀行、口座に振り込む場合の前置詞「in」もセットで覚えておきましょう。
[よくある間違い]
send/wire/transfer/remitも「送金する」という意味で使えますが、この場合前置詞は「to」となります。
　ex. I **wired/transferred/sent/remitted** 5000yen **to** your bank account.
　※wire「ワイヤ」＝「伝送する」から転じて「送金する」場合にも使われます。

hit「（悪いこと・障害など）に出くわす」
活用形：hit>hit>hit
hit a traffic jam「渋滞に出くわす」
cf. run acrossにも「（偶然）出くわす」という意味がありますがこちらは「（人に）出会う」という意味ですので間違わないように注意しましょう。

口座振替に関連する表現です。
（動）お金を振り込む「transfer money to my bank account」
（名）口座振込「a bank transfer」「a bank wire (transfer)/ a wire transfer」
※wireはあまり聞き慣れないかも知れませんが電送するケーブルワイヤを語源にしています。
よくある解答として、
I receive my pay/get paid through a ( bank account ).
がありますが、「口座からお金を受け取っている」という意味であり「振込」の意味が欠落していますので、ＮＧとなります。

～に所属する「belong to～」
「所属する」という意味では「to」が必ず必要です。
※以下のような場合にも使えるので便利な表現です。

「そのイスは私のよ。」
clubを使う場合のみbelong in 可能。
I belong to the football team.
I belong in/to the football club.
サッカー「football」も可。
