Employees can save a lot of time and money by not having to commute.
The company spends less money on renting office space
Some say remote workers are more productive

Downside (disadvantage) of telecommuting
miss out on personal contact
more collaboration leads to speeding up production

Good points of working in the office
Having all employees all together in the same location speed up output and improve work performance.


Downside to the back to the office trend is many highly qualified employees enjoy working remotely.
They consider that a major perk of the job.
It's not hard for high flyers to be hired by the company that offers options of remote work.

None of them could have happened without huge advances in technologies we've seen for the last couple of decades.
