They are talking about the wedding invitation that Tino got from his friend.

B→Not really, she was Tino’s friend at an English school.
J→When I was twelve years old, I really liked a guy in my class.
I was too embarrassed to ask him myself if he liked me.
So one day in a recess, I asked my friend to ask him for me.
Well, she asked him in front of all of his friends.
He said, “Yeel, Janica, no way!”
K→You felt a kind of sad, right?
J→Yes, of course. But I told myself, he was just too embarrassed to admit that he really liked me.
K→That’s a good idea!
B→When I was at school, there was a girl I really liked for a long time.
But she had a boyfriend.
Then one summer, she called me and said she wasn’t with her boyfriend any more.
And she asked if I wanted to be her boyfriend.
Of course, I said, yes.
But she was going away on holiday with her family for two weeks.
And when she came back, she had change her mind.
I was so sad.
