B→It’s difficult to keep something secret like Sam’s mom’s party.
But this is rare time when it’s OK to tell a lie.
In fact this kind of lie is called a white lie.
You use white lies for positive reasons.
K→For example?
J→Well, When I was a child, I visited my friend’s house for dinner.
Her mother worked really hard to make it, but I didn’t like taste of it.
But I said, “Thank you, it’s delicious!”
But when I couldn’t eat it all, so I said, “I’m a light eater.”
I told a white lie, but I felt that it was important not to hart her feelings.
K→I agree.
B→I remember once, my father gave me a book for Christmas, but I’ve already had it.
I couldn’t told him, but I didn’t want him disappointed, so I said, “Wow, it’s great, thanks.”
K→I understand what you meant well.
Maybe everyone has those experiences.
By the way, I’m wondering if they will make happen Sam’s planning party.
Kimiho→They are whispering about letting Tino and his friends know Sam’s mom is fine and that the party is on this Sunday.
Actually since last week I had had a hay fever.
But today I’m feeling much better. Maybe the weather.
Today is so lovely day.
And I’m going to meet my Chinese friend.
I’m looking forward to seeing her. We haven’t seen for a long time.
