Li and Wang are very common names there.
The UK has around 15,000 family names.
Many people have family names such as Smith, jones and Williams.
Finland has many names. It has around 30,000 family names.
Their names often end with "nen". It means "son of " or "child of".
What about Japan ? There are about 300,000 different family names in Japan.
Many Japanese family names come from locations.
For example, "Tanaka" means "in rice paddies" and "Kawaguchi" means "at the mouth of a river".
