※「～過ぎる」はsoを使う、tooは“too ... to”構文の場合のみ

～Accepting an invitation～
A : Have you ever heard of "Independence Day"?
B : Uhm... Maybe, but I'm not sure.
※“Have you ever heard of ...（人名）？”「～をご存じですか？」
“Do you know ...（人名）？”だと「知り合いですか？」というニュアンスになる
～Declining an invitation～
A : Are you free tomorrow?
B : Actually, I have plans.
※“Actually”「すみませんが、申し訳ありませんが、申し上げにくいのですが」
「予定」というときには"plans"と複数形にする（単数形だと「計画」となりちょっと硬い表現になる）
～Your cat HATES fireworks!～
A : I'm scared.
B : Don't worry about it. 「心配しないで」
※“Don't worry”だけだと「心配するなよ」とちょっときつく聞こえる

B : Yup.
※“Yes”「はい」／“Yeah”「ええ」／“Yup”「うん」（くだけた言い方）
