新聞に角田光代さんのエッセーが載っていました。
暑かった今年の夏を振り返り、これからは暑い夏を生き抜く覚悟が必要になったと、書かれていました。
私の周りでも、暑い夏をなんとか乗り切った、でも、来年も乗り切れるかどうか心配だと言う話をよくしていたように思います。
角田さんが今まで思っていた夏のイメージは、休暇、ビーチ、風鈴、退屈みたいなのどかな言葉でした。
花火やプールを楽しんだ夏の思い出は、懐かしい幻になってしまいそうです。
