その３　昨日の続きです。（3月号より）

During the siege of Osaka Castle, Yukimura sought to improve his fortunes by siding with Toyotomi Hideyori. At the Sanada Barbiean, an earthwork fort named after him, his firces withstood fieree attacks by the Tokugawa army through the winter of 1614.

However, he died in battle on June 3, 1615, the day that the castle fell to Tokugawa forces. The following day, Hideyori committed sucide, ending the last majaor threat to Tokugawa power over the country.
