【Diary】
What a tough week!
I had to get up 5:00 a.m. yesterday to go to the American embassy due to getting a working VISA.
Before that, I took almost 2 days for filling the online form to apply the VISA, because it was all in English! That was hard work, but might be a good English practice for me…

And today, I got up 5:00 a.m. again due to my work. There will be a big event this weekend, therefore my coworkers and me have been swamped last two weeks.

I wish I could take some days off next week, but I can’t.
I will go on a business trip from next Tuesday to Sunday, almost a whole week!
It’s fine, though. I love my job, I always say so in my mind.

【a can of worms】
★can of worms：魚の餌などに使われる虫の入った缶詰のこと。
一旦開けてしまうとウジャウジャと出てきて収拾がつかなくなることから、 open (up) a can of worms は「事をややこしくする」「災いを呼ぶ」という意味で比喩的に使われる。
