The Doll and the White Rose その3
His eyes were so sad as he said,
“Kelly is gone. Daddy says that Mommy is also going soon, so
I thought that she could take the doll with her.”
My heart nearly stopped.
The boy looked up at me and said,
“I told Daddy to tell Mommy not to go yet.
I want her to wait until I get back from the store.”
Then he showed me a very nice picture of himself laughing and said
“I also want Mommy to take this picture with her so she won't
forget me.
But, the clerk says I don't have enough money to buy this.”
Then he looked at the doll again.

Kelly is gone. Mammy is also going soon.
My heart stopped too. Something terrible happened.

もち米
友だちは新米だけではなく、もち米も、持ってきてくれました。
ご主人が春に旅立たれた後、悲しみを乗り越えて育てられたお米を
習い事の皆に持って着て来てくれる彼女の想いを味わっていただきます。
そして、我が家にも昨日、玄米の新米がとどきました。
ことのほか厳しい暑さでした。農家の方々のお世話があってのこの秋の収穫です。
本当にご苦労様です。有難うございます。
店員さんが何か機転が利く事をしてくださるのでしょうか？
心温まる贈り物ですね。
今年は特にうれしいです。
私も長野の姪から新米が届きました。
結び方と、その素材で中身がわかりました。2㎏か3㎏でしょう。
うるち米にさらにもち米ですね。感謝の気持ちを込めて味わいされてますね。
