A parent's Love

　After his funeral, I was cleaning out my father's room and
found an old diary.
It seemed that he had been writing it since I was born.
Reading through it, I found a page that said,

“Today, my little son, who is now three years old, was sitting with me
on the sofa, and a pigeon was sitting by the window.

He must have asked me about 20 times what it was, and I replied to him
that it was a pigeon.
I held him close each time he asked me.

It's difficult to explain but each time he asked me,
it made me love him even more.”

　After reading his diary, I was so sorry for how I'd treated my father
and I regretted not being kinder to him.
But, it was too late...

The love of parents for their children cannot be expressed enough.
When you want to be filial,　you don’t have parents.
