おぼえたフレーズ
I spent the day doing laundry and cleaning the house.
It was a typical Sunday for me.

The Red Ribbon
赤いリボン

　But she simply placed the necklace directly over the ribbon and
smiled at him.
He began to get angry.
“After all this time, doesn't she trust me?” he thought.
That night he waited until she fell asleep.

　Catherine lay there on her back, with her head resting on a large pillow.
The necklace was back in its box, but the ribbon was still around her neck.

James sat up, leaned over, and carefully untied the ribbon.
“There,”he thought. “Now she's really mine.”

　She opened her eyes and looked up at him.
A tear fell from her eye.
She shifted slightly, and James watched in horror as her head fell of
and rolled onto the floor.

“I warned you,” the head said.

What can I say?
What a tragic ending, isn't it?
Has James opened a Pandora's　box that shoudn't have been opened?
Happiness was destroyed in an instant.
Who could have predicted such an outcome?
