A short saying oft contains much wisdom.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, Their passions a quotation.

Conscience is the voice of the soul, the passions of the body.

It’s not me who can’t keep a secret. It’s the people I tell that can’t.
