Jeanie: Franky. I'm back. Where's Dr.Stein?

ただいま、フランキー。スタイン博士はどこかしら？

Franky: Jeanie, please sit down.

ジーニー、ちょっとすわってくれないか？

Jeanie: Why, what's wrong?

どうして？いったいどうしたの？

Franky: It is hard to tell you this, but Dr.Stein is in the hospital.

こんなことを君に伝えるのはつらいんだけど、スタイン博士は病院に入っているんだ。

Jeanie: What? What happened?

なんですって？何があったというの？

Franky: He fell down and broke his hip.

博士は転んで腰の骨を折ってしまったんだ。

Jeanie : We have to go to the hospital. He's our father.

私たち、病院に行かなくちゃ。博士は私たちの父親なんだから。

Franky : I agree.We should bring him some flowers.

そのとおりだ。博士に花を持っていったほうがいいね。

Jeanie : Flowers, right. Let's go to a flower shop. No garden's this time, OK?

ええ、花ね。花屋さんに行きましょう。今回はどこかの家の庭はだめよ、わかった？

Franky : I learned my lesson.Can I go with you.

ぼくは前回の失敗から学んだよ。ぼくもついていっていいよね？

Jeanie : Yes, let's go.

ええ、行きましょう。
