息子の誕生日パーティーでした。

魚介のパエリア、サーモンとアボカドのサラダ、牛肉とにんにくの芽の炒め物、枝豆をつくり、みんなでシェアしました。黄色いサフランライスのパエリアは、お目出たい感じがしますし、娘が魚介好きなのもあって、我が家のお祝い事の定番メニューになりました。息子も娘も食べ盛りなので、好きなものを何度もよそって食べていました。私はだいぶ小食になってしまったので、少しずつ食べながら、どちらかというとビールを楽しみました。食後にはアイスケーキを食べました。


息子の誕生日プレゼントは、「スラムダンク」の漫画にしました。バスケ部に入った息子はもちろんですが、バスケ未経験の娘も夢中になって読んでいます。私も中高生のときに夢中になっていましたが、今読んでもわくわくするような物語です。

登場人物はみんなかなり癖があって、尖った個性を持っています。試合に勝つために、その個性をとことん磨き上げ、また仲間の個性をとことん活かそうとします。敵同士でも、相手に勝つためにお互いの個性をとにかく理解しようとします。「同調圧力」のようなじめじめした習慣は、一切出てきません。主役級にも、ちょっとした脇役にも、場面ごとにしっかりスポットライトを向けるような展開が、感動と同時に、風通し良い清々しさを感じさせてくれるような気がします。

日本と韓国で「スラムダンク」の映画が大成功し、バスケの本場のアメリカでも今話題になっているようです。たぶんバスケとか国という枠を超えた、みんなの心を揺さぶるような何かを持った物語なんだと思います。



It was my son's birthday party.

We made seafood paella, salmon and avocado salad, stir-fried beef and garlic sprouts, and edamame to share. The yellow saffron rice paella is eye-catching, and my daughter loves seafood, so it has become a staple menu for our family celebrations. Both my son and daughter were eating a lot. Since I have become a small eater, I rather enjoyed beer while eating little by little. After dinner, we ate an ice cake.


My son's birthday present was "Slam Dunk" cartoon. Not only my son who joined the basketball club, but also my daughter who has no basketball experience is obsessed with reading. I was obsessed with it when I was in junior high and high school, and it's a story that still excites me even now.

The characters all have their own peculiarities and sharp personalities. In order to win the game, they polish their individuality thoroughly and try to make the most of the individuality of their teammates. Even enemies try to understand each other's individuality in order to win against the other. A damp habit like "peer pressure" never emerge.

The story can turn the spotlight firmly to every leading role or a minor supporting role on each scene. The development of the story makes us impressive, and feel us refreshing at the same time.

The movie "Slam Dunk" was a huge success in Japan and South Korea, and it seems that it is now a hot topic in America, the home of basketball. I think it's a story that transcends the framework of basketball or the country and has something that will shake everyone's hearts.
