高野山金剛峰寺の中庭

　His eyes, his face,his nose ----
everything. And worse than that,
a shoe shine rag was rubbing across the
shoe,getting closer and closer to him.
"Oh, no!" Drippy cried.
Just in time,he leaped off the shoe
and landed in a puddle of water on the
sidewalk. The water wased off the
polish,and when Drippy saw his reflec-
tion in a paddle,he was his white,
gleaming self again.
Drippy stood there admiring his reflec-
tion.
How handsome I am. How brave.
How clever.
