"Colors,"the peacock said."Don't you
know what colors are?"
Drippy thought for a moment,
"Tuesday."
"That's not a color. That's a day of
the week. Don't you know anything?"
"I can count to a hundred."
"Who cares about numbers,I'm going
to teach you about colors. There's
red..." As the peacock said the word,
he flashed his red ruby at Drippy. "And
green,and blue and pink,and violet,
and black,and purple." And as the
peacock named each color,he flashed the
color at Drippy. He named all the colors
of the rainbow, as Drippy listened wide-
eyed. "Now,little raindorop,do you
think you can name the colors?"
And Drippy named all the colors,and
the peacock was pleased.
