Dear mom and dad

Thanks for your reply I’ve been doing okay.
Last week we had a meeting called sansha mendan. Each student and one of their parents met their homeroom teacher.
They talked about their grades, attitudes in class, future goals and all that.
This week I learned that some of my friends weren’t getting along with their parents.
I talked with Mao-san about it. In her opinion, parents get frustrated when their kids don’t talk about themselves.
Kids sometimes try to hide their concerns or failures.
I think I often talk to you about my school life, concerns and failures.
My concern today is that I’m short on money.
