時間は一様に流れるのではない。地球には地球の時間、人間には人間の時間、ゾウにはゾウの時間、ネズミにはネズミの時間があるという。
私は最近興味深い本を読んだ。生物学者本川達雄氏の「ゾウの時間ネズミの時間」である。
そのポイントを要約すれば次のとおりである。
いろいろな動物の寿命は物理的時間の物差しでは異なる。しかし、すべての哺乳類は心臓が約２０億回鼓動してその生涯を終える。ゾウもイヌもネコもネズミもヒトも心臓はほぼ２０億回打ってとまる
すべての哺乳類の生涯は心拍数２０億回で共通している。数年の寿命のネズミも１００年近い寿命のゾウも生涯心拍数は同じだという。
当然それぞれの動物の時間の感覚もことなるだろう。人間の時間の感覚をあてはめることはできない。
まして地球の時間は我々人間の思考の範囲を超えている。草津白根山は３０００年ぶりに噴火したという。
しかし３０００年は地球の時間としては一瞬にすぎないだろう。
時の流れの速さはその人の置かれた状態によって異なる。
ある時は時間はゆっくり流れ、またある時はすばやく流れる。
浦島太郎の龍宮城での楽しいひと時は、実は彼を白髪の老人に変えてしまう長さだった。
時間のスピードは年齢に比例するとも言われる。
１０歳の子供の時間は時速１０キロでゆっくり流れる。20歳の若者の時間は時速20キロで流れていく。
しかしながら、私の時間は時速85キロで矢のように流れ去っていく。
まさに「光陰矢のごとし」である。

The earth has time of the earth. The human being has the time of human being. The elephant has the time of elephant. The mouse has the time of the mouse
I read an interesting book recently.　The name of the book is　”The time of elephant and the time of mouse”
If I summarize the point of the book, it is as follows.

The elephant and the dog and the cat and the mouse and the Homo sapiens finish their life after approximately 2 billion times of hearts beat,
Each animal should have a sense of the original time. It is different from the sense of the human time
Needless to say, the time of the earth cannot be measured by the human ruler.
It is said that Mount Kusatsu-Shirane erupted after an interval of 3,000 years. However, 3,000 years will be only instants for time of the earth..
The speed of the time changes depending on the state of the person
Sometimes the time goes by slowly and sometimes it drifts quickly.
It is said that the speed of the time is proportional to the age
The time of the 10-year-old child goes by slowly at 10 kilos per an hour.
The time of the 20-year-old youth goes at 20 kilos per an hour.
However, my time flies away at 85 kilos per an hour. Time flies like an arrow
