ノ：わぁ！あなた素敵よ！スコットランド衣装を着たのね。で、私は日本衣装を着ました。
ス：その着物すっごく似合ってるよ。で、その着物について教えてよ。どこで買ったの？
ノ：これとっても気に入ってるの。日本で手に入れたのよ。実はホストファミリーが親切にも私にくれたのよ。あなたは着物ってよく着るの？
ス：そうでもないな。結婚式みたいな特別ば場合に着るだけだよ。
ノ：ああ、あなたのスコットランド衣装もすっごく似合ってる。どこで買ったの？
ス：ありがとう。実はレンタルしてるんだ。地元の人たちに溶け込みたくて。
ノ：きっとスコットランドの地元の人たちに溶け込むわよ。それと、そのチェック柄のマフラーもいいわね。どこで買ったの？
ス：実はこのマフラーは日本で買ったんだ。でもチェック柄ってほとんど身に付けない。これはスコットランド旅行のために買ったんだよ。
ノ：それって今日のお城でのアフタヌーンティーにぴったりよ。ところで、日本のお茶会にはよく出るの？
ス：一度もないよ。ぼくの母は行くけれども。
ノ：あら！バグパイプ演奏よ！どう思う？
ス：バグパイプはテレビでしか見たことがないよ。こうやって直接見るのは初めてだ。壮大だね。
N: Wow! Look at you! You wore Scottish outfit. And I wore Japanese outfit.
S: That kimono looks great on you. So, tell me about that kimono. Where did you get it?
N: I love this kimono. I got it in Japan. Actually, my homestay family kindly gave it to me. Do you wear a kimono often?
S: Not really. I just wear them for special occasions like weddings.
N: Wow. Your Scottish outfit looks great. Where did you get that outfit?
S: Thanks. Acturaly, I'm renting this outfit. I wanted to fit in with the locals.
N: You'll fit in with the locals in Scotland. And I love that plaid scarf. Where did you get it?
S: Actually, I got this scarf in Japan. But I almost never wear plaid. I got this just for my trip to Scotland.
N: That's perfect for today's afternoon tea at the castle. By the way, do you go to Japanese tea ceremonies often?
S: I've never been. My mom goes to tea ceremonies, though.
N: Oh! We have a bagpipe performance! What do you think?
S: I've only seen bagpipes on TV. I've never seen them in person like this. It's magnificent.
