I went to the polls this morning. It's the first time for me to pick the candidate I really wanted to be elected. I used to vote for someone to avoid the worst one or I didn't vote at all.

Taro Yamamoto and Reiwa Shinsengumi are epochal for the following reasons.
1. They are the only political group that will adopt the anti-austere fiscal policy. Their policy is apparently anti-globalism, anti-neoliberalism.
2. They are set up by the crowd founding. They gathered about 400 million Yen within three months.
3. All candidates except Yamamoto are not professional politicians. They are parties in different problem fields, for example, an ALS patient, a seriously disabled individual, a convenience store owner, a transvestite, anti-nuclear-craftwork activist, an ex-trader who will change the financial system, an ecologist. They all have something to say and strong passion to change the situation.
4. They have very ambitious commitment that will be materialized after they come to power, although they are so small political group now.
5. Yamamoto's powerful speech. He persuades the audience with data and his passion. He understands the plight of the social week and show the solution of the problem.

At this election I learned again that the media is so unfair or so incapable. Before the campaign period the Reiwa Shinsengumi are already a phenomenon. But the media have ignored them. In the middle of the period they were rarely reported, because they are not a qualified political party. Their policy wasn't known well by the people except the internet users. After polls TV stations began to report that the Reiwa Shinsengumi attracted the attention of the people. But some TV stations didn't recognize the value of Reiwa Shinsengumi, or they manipulate the image of Reiwa Shinsengumi. But now that Reiwa Shinsengumi got more than 2 percent of all polls, it will be an official political party. Yamamoto can speak in the party-leader meeting on TV and he can share his political ideas with wider audience.
